❤HCC's Healing Justice Mural! Featured on our home page ❤

We are thrilled to share the Healing Justice Mural with our community!
We would like to express our gratitude for the amazing muralists who brought this vision to life: Keena "kee" Romano ( Lead Artist ), Lesley "Dime" Lopez, Vanessa "Agana" Espinoza, and Jazmin "Shi Shi" Madriz. Thank You for your incredible artistry, dedication and Loving hard work!
This mural is a blessing to our community! Infused with love for the people, it is reflective of our belief that art in itself is a healing modality rooted in resilience, community, and transmutation. This mural was birthed in the spirit of resilience based organizing. The people, skills, and resources of our community ( Labor ) were brought together to not only strengthen & reinforce the power of our people, but has also told a story of how we choose to live, heal, and uphold the cultural wisdom, dignity, and safety of all Including our Mother Earth.
Art and cultural expression are imperative pieces to healing generational trauma. When we create opportunities to heal as community, we open the path for more of us to stand and be held in Love which inevitably builds our spiritual force, and the force behind the collective good. It is our time to continue the thread of visioning & dreaming our liberation as community into our reality!
